A Hidden Talent

A well known Pakistani right arm fast bowler/all-rounder who just played 11 ODIs for his team since the year 2000 when he made his first appearance in limited overs thriller against Srilanka at Karachi and he last played against Australia at Abu Dhabi on 3rd of May 2009. Yes, i'm talking about the one an only Yasir Arafat. Its been almost 5 years that he have not played any ODI and Test match against any international team.

Yasir have a huge experience of playing in the conditions where the world cup 2015 is about to begin. But the shocking news is that selectors did not consider his name even in 30 man squad. After Saeed Ajmal's and Hafeez's bowling action controversy, Pakistan side became very inexperienced. The officials of Pakistan cricket board should have considered him at least in 30 man lineup.

Great cricket legends including Sir Viv Richards have expressed his feelings over not considering Yasir Arafat for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2015. The great Viv Richards met Yasir after his jaw-dropping performance in Big Bash League against Melbourne Stars. Yasir took four wickets and gave 27 runs in his 4 over spell. While talking to the media persons Viv said, "Why on earth Pakistan did not pick him up for the world cup? this is a question in everyone's mind now a days". Yasir Arafat is one of the best limited overs bowler and soon he'll be going to reach the landmark of highest wicket takers in the world T20. "I am surprised and shocked over the selectors and PCB's management high-headedness with regard to Yasir. Either the selectors are completely ignorant about his achievements in international cricket or deliberately ignoring him. Looks like the selectors are interested in regional lobbies and not giving the value to the player's stong points, Yasir is a bowler who has all the experience to bowl at the autralian wickets. Yasir's inclusion in the team would have been ideal for pakistan".

UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL

UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL
It is really saddening to see our beloved country in such a vulnerable situation. Safety has become a thorny issue and no one feels safe.
So called Sit-ins (Dharna) and protests are just the ways of getting the Political Seats either in Assembly or in any other Ministry. Unfortunately we, as individuals are bringing eachother down and fighting like wild creatures and are thirsty of eachother's blood. We are not only discriminating each other on the political basis but we are bringing religious factors such as caste, sects and creeds in the whole issue. Instead of standing as one Ummah, we are divided into many sects and groups, each individual is trying to fulfill their own selfish motives.
For the betterment of our country, we should stand as one ummah and that is the ummah of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. We should stand united against all the anti-Pakistan and anti-Muslim terrors and we should fight all the negativity prevailing all over the world against Islam or against Pakistan not as sunni, shia or barelvi but as Muslims because we are one and our God is one. May Allah Almighty give us strength and courage to fight against all the terrors. Ameen
